The Polysix is not a stringer. It's a polyphonic synthesizer.

What defines a "stringer" isn't what effects it features, though. What defines a "stringer" is a keyboard designed to emulate strings. Any polyphonic synth ever can make the same sorts of string noises a stringer makes.
If the Polysix were considered a stringer simply because it has an effect, then nearly every single-osc polyphonic with chorus would be one, too... including the Juno 6, etc. and that's just crazy.
