EML 101 PATCHING

Post by dancinggods » Wed Dec 14, 2011 5:11 am

hey everyone,

so a few times a year i decide i don't use my eml 101 enough, then try and trade it, but then i discover something new that it can do. i perceive a limitation, then step away only to return to solve the problem through patching. i re-read the original manual i have when i get into these phases, and pick apart the certain element i'm having trouble with.

i am here for help however, i would love to split the two lfo oscillators to modulate osc 2 and 3 SEPARATELY. i also run 2 and 3 as the source and mod for the ring modulator, which i recently figured out how to route back into the filter… making my favorite eml sound so far. i have also been messing around with using the keyboard to advance the filter tuning to play the overtones of my fundamental, hoping i can solve my dual lfo issue, i hope to combine all of these and make a complete album based on it… i might as well add some odyssey and sonic six and echoplex for good measure, i don't like anyone feeling left out.

anyhow, any help on this, or other super creative things i may not have noticed yet in the patching combinations would be great. i have determined this synth is a minor god, it seems limitless the longer it lingers in my studio.
