Sounds damn good for <$800. Also love how they're using an ASR to control it. I use the 88 key version as a master controller for my hardware synths as well.

Edit: honestly for $800 I was hoping for both tiers that were in the matrixsynth post...guess I was being overly optimistic

Actually, I emailed them for more info and it does sound like that will be the price for two (that first one will be ~$400). Only concern I have is that the "VCOs", are a "mix of digital and analog technology", which sounds like a DCO to me? Guess it's all about trade-offs... certainly would be the first DCO based modular I am aware of. But I would wonder how audio-rate modulation would be affected (if at all).
