The site also lists something called a Dongle Buddy.

I think my cat had one of those hanging off his a*s recently.


He dragged it all over the house and we had to rent a steam cleaner.

Soundtoys are giving away this plugin to promote their line of plugs with potential customers who are willing to pay good money for plugins, not as a freebie for hobbyists. The people who this is aimed at (ie Pro Tools users, people who have McDSP, Soundtoys etc plugins) already have iloks, so it isn't an issue for them.
