It's pretty close to a JP-8080 to me.

Nah I had a JP-8080 (and 8000) a while back and never heard that. Sounds a bit like a feedback osc I guess but I don't remember any preset remotely close to it.

Sounds like its a simple 4 oct range upward arpeggio which might explain why you hear it kind of often, patch/voice wise I don't know.
