splice and dice? microkorg issue..still!

Post by man-009 » Mon Apr 16, 2012 11:32 pm

so..is it possible to splice in a 9v ac adapter into the battery lead to run a synth that has the option of 9v adapter or batteries to power it? the synth takes 9v to work. so i would think the batteries must total 9v to run the synth right? makes sense..but will it work? it's a microkorg. i must have a few diodes out for the adapter not to work but i was thinking it would be easier just to splice into the battery line? right now it only works on batteries. the adpapter has been tested and works fine. i have a feeling its two or one diode that is bad in the path.

No need for two topics about the same thing.
