MFB 503 syncing a Monotribe?

Im considering buying a MFB 503 Drumcomputer to use with my monotron. My question is, can I sync the monotribe with the MFB 503?

I've never used a MFB-503, but looking at its specifications, it does not look like you can synchronize a MonoTribe to it without another piece of gear or adding MIDI to the MonoTribe. The MonoTribe has a pulse sync input that can be generated by drum machines with a trigger out or similar gear.
