There are other differences that the 106 loses out on - EG control of PWM, front panel hold button, hardware EGs, and the ability to turn on both chorus types at once (makes an interesting tremelo effect useful for EP patches)... There's also the Minerva upgrade for the 60 which gives you a lot of extra features.

You can arpeggio over midi but it's not the same for me...

I fitted a few of those voice chips...you still have to be quite good at soldering.

That looks like a great upgrade. A Juno 60 with that in it would IMHO be preferable to a 106. Very reasonable price. More reliable voices too! But still no portamento :(
