MFB Step64 Ext. Sync

Post by aciddance » Thu Jul 12, 2012 10:49 pm

I've got a problem with STEP 64 - can not set the MIDI clock sync to
external position - I haven't used the sequencer for a year now and unfortunately forgot
how to do that... Just tried to do what is in manual from MFB site ( hold
Play while turning it on... ) but it doesn't work.

Please, help!

Thanks in advance!

hmmm... looks like I destroyed the machine! after trying other key combinations to make it play in sync I put it into 6th mode and it finally started to hear external clock but stoped to send anything to cv/gate outs - only spontaneous signals once a 10 minutes.

It would be nice to reset it to factory defaults somehow.

Well, despite the the fact that I love the usability and the size of this little sequencer I came to idea that it is completely buggy and very unreliable, anyway it would be nice to make it work again so your comments are welcome.

hah... after another 15 minuts of random key combinations and turning on/off it suddenly started to work as it should and what can I say, I'm happy with it! It acts like a very cult machine, weird, unstable, overprogrammed in a 'german' way...
