Tannerin sound?

Post by Shannon U » Sat Aug 11, 2012 11:41 am

Hello all,

New member here asking probably a silly question but need help none the less. I'm looking at an Analogue Systems French Connection but wanted to know what modules I would need to get a sine wave output. I'm really going for a Tannerin sound and figured this would work but if anyone has any previous experiences I would greatly appreciate any advice given.

Thanks once again,

Shannon.

most resonant voltage controlled filters would be pretty suitable. at the point of self oscillation the output of the filter alone will produce a sine wave or close facsimile. you could run that thru a vca controlled by an envelope generator, and there you go. getting a vco or two wouldnt be a bad idea, possibly one that works at low frequencies so you can use it for lfo modulation
