future retro xs..do more than just fx? good leads, bass etc?

Post by chimney chop » Fri Sep 14, 2012 8:25 am

every youtube video i've watched is a knob twiddling noise-fest.

i'd like to see/hear it doing more traditional sounds since i hear tell it's a good alternative to a Pro One or Prodigy.

anyone have a link?

maybe one with someone playing it via a keyboard. that would be GREAT

thanks!

Listen to the many demos here.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

That is a link to one of my tracks. Selfless shameless promotion LOL

But in all seriousness, the XS is a beast. If you read the replies you can tell what all I used, and I happen to use a pro1 and a XS in the same track. I use the XS in a significant amount of my tracks. It does crunchy/gritty bass extremely well, as well a decent lead type sound.

If you are wondering whether or not you think it's a good buy, the answer would be yes. For what it's worth, I rarely use it for the semi-modular capacity. It's cool that it can do that, but meh, not needed really.
