Route 66 Studios

Post by pmanderson » Tue Sep 18, 2012 3:35 pm

Hello
I've recently acquired an Ensoniq ESQ-1. Its in need of a new battery and updated OS ROM.
I found http://www.route66studios.com/ supplies both, but after sending a purchase order request last week, I've received no response from them and there is no answer from the phone.

Is this site still taking orders?
Should I be patient?
Can anyone recommend an alternate source for the following other than eBay?

* Ensoniq ESQ-1 Battery (with holder/clip)
* Ensoniq ESQ-1 OS ROM 3.5

Regards,
Patrick

Be patient. One-man operation. Health problems. Good guy, good products.

Well, it's been over a week and still nothing.
I've made a number of phone calls and no answer.
I'll give it a couple of days. After that, I'll need to find a source elsewhere.

Ok, then try http://www.SYNTAUR.com

They have both parts listed. The battery is the original style that you solder in though. Not to worry - the immense capacity of the battery (as compaired to a "button" cell) means 15 years between changes.

Done much business with this guy also and rate his company #1
