Alesis MMT8 question
How many Milli Amps should the MMT8 be powered with? I have a spare 9V power supply with 1000MA. Would this be suitable?

Re: Alesis MMT8 question
I used to have one but sold it. I referred mmt8.com FAQ section at that time, as again now. Turns out 1A (1000mA) is what it needs. The adapter recommended supplies a stepped down AC current to the unit, which is why mmt8.com recommends a specific LINE-6 brand adapter. They go on to say an adapter that supplies DC current should be fine but I have never tried this.
