the really sad part is I would love to have a Polymoog, but I don't think I could afford the repair bills.

I hear ya. Only the Variable section works on my PolyMoog (no presets). I've already sank more into it on repairs than I had wanted to. There's a guy on YouTube (I think his channel is synthpro) that restores them. If he was closer, I'd let him work on mine.
