JD800 factory sounds without actually getting a JD800 - How?

Post by Tito83 » Mon Sep 01, 2014 1:07 pm

Hey, first post here! I'm actually a guitar player, but I'm starting to produce my first record and after searching a lot, I found exactly what I need for the keyboard sounds, and the JD800 is it and the factory presets would go a LONG way for me. The JD800 would be great to get, but I'm wondering if there's anyway to get those sounds any other way. Would any of the JV or XV rack units pack the same sounds? Is there any sound library out there? Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

The Roland JD-990 module is the surest path as it's basically the same sound engine. It imports all JD-800 sounds directly.
