Which synth could this be?

Post by sorengemmer » Wed Sep 03, 2014 9:12 pm

Hi peeps.

What kind of/which synth might this solo be played on? John Grant's It Doesn't Matter To Him?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I'm not trying to do a cover, which would be plain wrong, but I would like to be able to do a similar sound.

I was wondering the same thing. In this video you can see he uses a Juno 106 (it's a little hard to make it out, but it defs a 106). I think the fizzy sound heard on the record is probably some effect on top of the synth.

Any synth with pulse width modulation and vibrato will give the same sound, basically.
