Hi all, a kind friend helped me replace a battery for my M1 a week ago, we did all the necessary re load of the sounds.
However a week later I get the same reading coming up on the screen...low battery ....and after 2 mins of playing it starts to sound wonky....
We used a new battery which was going to go into a matrix 1000, but my friend said he had a spare going..
Anybody else experience this problem...?

Re: Korg m1 replacement battery
Was is a major brand, or a China knock-off? Even if the battery was still wrapped, it might have been old and weak: was there a better before date on the package? If not, it either old or cheap. My guess is that you simply didn't install a good battery...

Yeah I'll have to check it out...was thinking the same....was wrapped as I saw it come out of it....I was thinking could it be a particular battery for the matrix or are they all for one...one for all type batteries...
