Hey all,
I'm in the market for a new synth that has all of the following...
1.) External midi clock synced Arpeggiator
2.) Polyphonic Portamento/Legato/Glide
3.) Manageable number of preset sounds. I don't need/want banks upon banks of presets. My current only has 21 presets and I'm looking to upgrade to more but wanna keep it manageble/memorable with out having to refer to charts.
4.) Affordability. Budget is a few hundred but would splurge on the right board.
Nice-To-Haves...
1.) Filter Section
2.) FX Section
Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Re: Synth options that meet these criteria...
Any idea what kind of sound/synthesis features you're looking for? Off the top of my head the Korg DW-8000 sounds like it meets all your criteria fairly well - MIDI-syncable arpeggiator, polyphonic portamento, 64 patch slots, lovely SSM filters, Korg digital delay/chorus, and they go for $250-400.
