NI Reaktor 5 BUG

Post by gekichan » Wed May 06, 2009 2:08 pm

Hi there,
i got across with a bug in the NI reaktor 5 on MAC leopard with Ableton Live 7.
When any pop up message comes up i cannot get further. The program doesnt answer at any command and seems to be freezed. Then I can only force the quit and reboot up everything. I tried to uninstall the reaktor from the database and reinstall it, using even different installers, but no way, the problem is still there.
Anybody knows if there is a reaktor uninstaller?, delete manually the directories of reaktor is quite tricky and probably a proper deinstalling process would solve the solution.
Thanks to everybody.

ciao.

Reaktor 5 has been buggy for me also in Live 7, I haven´t encountered the problem you are talking about but Live regularly crashes on me when I'm using Reaktor. It seems to be a Live related problem because it's rock solid in Logic.

I had this problem, it's not to do with live - it happens when reaktor is running on its own too.

I just assumed the err "trial" version of reaktor I was using was some dodgy hack.

Are you using a legitimate reaktor 5?

Macs don't require uninstallers, you can just delete the files.

There are programs like Spring Cleaning that can automate the process.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Well it has to do with Live in my case because it's not happening in standalone mode or when loaded into Logic. And yes I'm using a up to date legal version of Reaktor, I'm starting to think it has something to do with user made ensembles because it's seems to work ok with the stock stuff.

did you try to get in touch with the NI custumer support?
I cannot given the unlegitimate version of my reaktor.
they might have an answer to this problem.

Not yet no, but from what I have heard they aren't the most responsive company out there. Also this problem only recently popped up for me because usually I use Live strictly for audio and Logic for the midi stuff.
