I'm looking to get in contact with Vangelis, the master behind the Blade Runner sound track. I have an exciting new project I believe he would be very interested in. However he and his management are proving very tricky to get hold of, can you help - please email me asap.

This is for a new, high quality synth book available next year - pattented and copywritten by Mantle.

I will also be using this topic to ask for help to find any synths on my list which I have not yet got hold of, I currently have a large number located including:

Yamaha CS80
Roland series 700
Arp 2600 and 2500
Minimoog
Buchla 200e
Korg MS-20/MS-50
Memorymoog
Polymoog
Prophet 5 and 10

Synths I am still looking for are the:

OB-8
OSCar
Elka Synthex
Any of the Korg PS3300 OR PS3100

Any help locating these would be very much apreciated and if you own any of these you may be featured in my book if you are willing to participate.

Thank you for your time,
Tim

Are you after the specs or after the actual synths?

And more importantly, where are you from?

I don't think vangelis will ever go out his bubble. He is that way, a closed person. Some kind of eh "hermit"... probably...

I have downloaded however, the video of an 1992 interview in french, made in his studio, the documentary is called "musiques au coeur" and he plays his bunch of keyboards and answers questions in between...

Your book seems to be interesting, you probably got to contact Mr Rich which is one of the mods of the general synths forum...
