Fixing keys on synths??-couple interesting questions...

Post by XZit » Fri Oct 20, 2006 1:31 am

Sorta a strange question--but maybe not.

So how would you go about repairing an older synth/a regular newer synths keyboard if say one key was chipped a little bit?
Is there a way to use epoxy and just sort of "remake" the key (then paint it white/black).

Does anyone have a website link for old synth replacement keys?? Or generic replacement keys?

Thanks!
pz

Check out the HELP! section.

There is no such thing as "generic" synth keys. They are unfortunately not universal but differ slightly (or less slightly) one to another.

There are plenty of sites selling vintage keys. Use the SEARCH in here and/or Google.

Sorry to sound mean but we keep answering the same questions all over again!

But since you're a nice guy: http://www.synthzone.com/repair.htm
