'Analog' style VST sequencers.

Post by Bill_Schroder » Sat Jan 06, 2007 9:07 pm

Are there any of these? I am considering selling my FatController. But only if I can get some nice VST sequencers with sliders, knobs, faders and such. Something that I can host on Cubase. If you know of any modern, not so conventional sequencers I'd like to know about them too.
Ouch.

So no one knows of any 'analog' VST sequencers? :\
I want something to sequence my hardware synths with via PC. I don't care much for the step matrix piano roll sequencer, so ANY alternative is appreciated.
Ouch.

Sorry, Bill, but off the top of my head, I don't. Did you try over at KVR Audio? www.kvraudio.com is the link and you'll find all kinds of stuff there, including loads of freebie downloads.

Good luck!

There is one fully featured step-sequencer called ERA. It's not free, though, but seems to work great. I tried the demo some time ago.

also there is a nice one from AudioDamage group and http://www.dspaudio.com/ has the Latronic Norton emulation.

the whole FLstudio can be used as a nice x0x0x style sequencer.

This might not be what you want but the only two I can think of are:

the Matrix in Reason

the ARP sequencer that comes with the ARP 2600 Arturia softsynth.
Current Rig : Mac G5, MOTU 828 mkII, Moog Minimoog, Arp Axxe, Korg Poly 61m, Korg Poly-800, Korg Microkorg, Ensoniq ESQ 1, SQ-80, EPS sampler, DX-27, DX-7, Rx-5 drum machine, Alesis HR-16, Boss Dr-55, Synare, PAIA 9700 system, Roland MKS-100,

audiorealism bassline can route midi outside the plugin too, it's the best yet x0x style sequencer.

The Nortron is very nice, but it is mac only at this point, and doesn't run as a vst.
