Step-Sequencer VST for AL?

Post by jimi_t » Thu Jun 12, 2008 2:40 pm

Fairly simple request I would have thought, but I can't managed to track something down to fit my needs.

On my old MS-2000 I used to be able to get a nice sequence going, using the sixteen knobs going across to alter the pitch of a step in realtime.

I have a BCR-2000 now. What VST will act as a host to control one of my other plugins - say Crystal for the sake of argument - and allow me to map the pitch of each step to a separate knob on my BCR2000.

Try Plogue Bidule, it's a modular host/environment, sort of like max/msp, that can also run as a vst or vsti inside a host like live or cubase.
It has a few sequencer modules, and everything can be controlled via midi.
There's a time limited demo available, and you can buy an "early bird" license for 75 dollars, well worth the money.
I'm too tired to write more right now, but try it out for yourself:
