Prophet 5 cv filter jack-Solved

Post by EdGs » Tue Feb 21, 2012 2:46 am

Just got the answer-Yes it is. I feel very stupid for missing it in the first place.

I've finally gotten where I can resume work on my P5 rev. 3.3 again after many, many months. When I worked on her last, I changed out the 1/4" jacks as the originals were very crappy. I was just about to the point of finishing this when I had to pack her away.

Upon trying to pick up where I left off, I was looking at the original jacks and noticed that on the cv filter jack, the ground is also connected to the nc contact in the jack. Apparently, I failed to make this connection on the new one. When I doublechecked the schematic, it didn't show up as being connected that way.

Can anyone with a P5 take a look at theirs and verify this? I just want to be sure because this machine has come a long way since I got it and I don't want to screw up something now.

Thanks
