Just noticed that when I turn the master tune on the back of my ax-60, it doesn't do anything until you get to the very last segment on the right side (b), and then it jumps about a step. I tried cleaning it, but that did nothing. Could it just be a bad pot...an easy fix? Anyone else experience this? I don't really have the tech skills to fix this on my own, so any advise would be appreciated.

I had mine take a fall and the pot had a hairline crack in trace.
It was ward to find a direct replacement and I had to do some rigging. I can take pictures and get you a mouser part number for what I used.

Thanks, that would help, if it's not too much trouble. In the mean time, I guess I can just tune my other synths a little flat to match it's pitch. Kind of a bummer because I was thinking of getting those wooden side panels from you, but now I may have to wait and prioritize.

Where are you located?
Also, can you solder?

I'm in Greenville, SC. I haven't leaned to solder yet. I've only done some simple repairs, like replacing buttons and basic maintenance. Maybe I'm over my head with this. I just heard back from a guy in town that may be able to fix the pot. Think I might go that route before tackling it myself.

It's possible the pot is fine. You may want to just reflow the solder on the board at the pot and where the wires from the pcb to the other board where the actual tuning circuit is. just a simple reflowing of solder might do the trick.

Ok, that sounds promising. I'll look into it when I get a chance. Thanks for your help!
