So I spent all last night trying to find a simple piano patch I can play my iPad.
Everyone I found was a tutorial and based on learning to play. Which I wouldn't mind, but the reviews/comments always say things like 'freezes if you play a chord' or nag screen in app purchase...or hangs etc....
I used to own IK Multimedia ...drawing a blank....but I couldn't re-download it because it's not compatible with my 1 generation behind iPad. I have 8 million synth apps, but you can imagine every piano patch is an FX-drenched sound. surely someone must have a solid piano app by now. Any help is appreciated.

The pianos in garageband actually aren't too bad.

The new iPad announced today just might make me upgrade sooner rather than later.
And I'll agree with Mel that the pianos in GarageBand aren't too bad.
