One synth songs

I really like making entire tracks using only one synth. Here's two examples from my soundcloud:

This was made entirely on the DSI Tempest, with a bit of Boss reverb.

and this was made entirely with the Nord Lead A1.

we did an entire contest of one-synth songs here on VSE a number of years ago.

Cheating! For my 1 synth competition entry, I used the JX-8P to create every drum sound from scratch. The only non JX-8P equipment was the effects processer doing basic reverb/ delay, the sequencer playing it, and the Akai s2000 I used in place of a computer w/DAW.

Does it have to be original work or do covers count? I did a Futurepop/EBM cover of New Order's True Faith on Virus TI2....don't want to post it if it doesn't fit the "rules."
