Hello everybody I am looking for a-ha sounds on their hit stay on these roads
I know that drums was Yamaha rx5
For the snare I try to get that original sound but hard to find with rx5 snares samples, try to add reverb and compression but hard.
Then I know the lead synth is d50 staccato heaven patch
The pad is prophet 5 I think or juno 106
But regarding the wind instrument sound at the beginning and the hook o think it's a flute or oboe but what synth? Dx7 or other?
The bass? Dx7?
Thanks for all your replies and informations about it
How did they get that sound a-ha stay on these roads

pads sound like prophet 5
the sound in the backround playing the root notes during the theme in the intro sounds like Synclavier.
Bass could be Roland Juno 6/60.

You think the main lead during intro is a synclavier
It's sounds like oboe or flute
