Synths and Drum Machines in Media

[STIProd]

Does anyone know about synths and drum machines in other media than songs?

Not sure I understand your question.

I know drum machines and other musical instruments have been used as props in TV shows and movies.

The Oberheim DMX was repainted and used on the bridge of the Enterprise in Star Trek 5.
The Novation Circuit was used as a prop as is in an episode of the Legion series.

Nice easter eggs of a drum machine in that TV show, but we gotta talk about synths and drum machines used in film cues other than songs.

Like the Emulator II in Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

A lot of late 90's video games use Roland Sound Canvas and Korg M1

For example:

Plus 90's Best Service libraries.

Also, a lot of Frank Gari themes use the Roland Sound Canvas and E-MU Proteus
