I know the power supply in this old white face oddy is supposed to be puting out 15+/15- between the two rails and that those are supposed to go to 30 when I check between the two. I've replaced the filter caps and the two tantalum caps and the regulator IC and I'm at least getting stable voltage but it's 30+/30- and 60 combined.
I used the synthchaser capacitor and IC replacement kit for the work I've done so far.
Oh yeah, I blew the fuse with an accidental short circuit before I installed those parts.

Re: ARP Odyssey 1 power probs
Did it come with a stepdown transformer or something? Is the synth wired for the US or Japan mains and is it now plugged to EU or Australia mains voltage? In such a case is there a jumper attached or soldered to the power transformer´s primary?

Re: ARP Odyssey 1 power probs
Did you actually take the old ones out
Did you look at the caps and see they said 15V and not 30V? Maybe they gave you the wrong voltage caps. I've heard larger voltage caps are not supposed to hurt in most electronics, but I am thinking if it is coming out of the main power supply perhaps that can be bad, and I wouldn't try different to specs in a synth, but I don't know all that much about this kind of stuff. Just throwing out ideas.
