Hi! Does anyone know the synth which has this sounds:
https://dropmefiles.com/NanMo ("DigMallet")
This music was on CD 2004 year (without composer and titles). So this sound should be from synth 90's or early 2000s. Also the follow sounds used a lot:
"ChoirPad Up" and "EthStr" (https://dropmefiles.com/NanMo).
"ChiorPad Up" - the sound goes a second octave after some delay + delay FX
"EthStr" - like sweep down pad + delay FX
I discovered that the sound "ChoirPad Up" very close to "SurroundPad" from Ensoniq TS12 (10:22)
may be DigiMallet also from ts12?
Could anyone help me to identify the synth

"ChoirPadUp" is a modified preset (Bank 3, Number7, "Iceman") from the JD-800 without the "chimes" part.
The "DigiMallet" sounds like a Yamaha DX/TX or SY/TG series.

Re: Could anyone help me to identify the synth
Thanks a lot!
I cheked JD800 on youtube and found that "DigiMallet" very similar to preset 16 Fantasia 90's (without chimes) and 26 Perc-Vox Stack (may be without "vox-pad")
If anyone here has JD800, could you cheked my guesses about "DigiMallet"

your link to "DigiMallet" says "files have been deleted"
I've owned a JD-800 since '94 and is my favorite synth of the 100+ I own.
The sound is definitely not a preset, and probably not from the JD-800 from what I remember. IIRC, it sounded like FM combined with PCM.

Nice - why is it your favourite? Is it your only source of that era Roland digital sounds? Or maybe the interface really works for you?
Just curious...

Re: Could anyone help me to identify the synth
The interface, mostly. Also, being familiar with it for over 26 years (the music store I worked at in '92 encouraged us to take gear home to learn them better in order to sell more units, so I took the display model home a couple times before scoring my own used one).
Some of the PCM samples are very dated (90s sounding), but even the PCM samples of analog waveforms are pretty good. Its Multi-mode filter sounds pretty good despite being digital. You do hear some digital artifacts on sounds with long decays which Roland fixed in the JD-990 and you can use the JD-800's sliders to edit the JD-990.

Re: Could anyone help me to identify the synth
For me, it's less the sounds, as I can do that elsewhere - it's more about the orange lights...
It would be nice to have that interface to control the later 4-partial romplers (eg the 5080 etc)...

"DigiMallet" https://dropmefiles.com/GjCLa
I identified that composer used Korg M1, Wavestation, Trinity, Roland JD800 and JV-1080. But none of them contains the desired sound...
Also composer often used harp (celtic?) and guitar with tremolo effect https://dropmefiles.com/GjCLa These sounds not from Roland (roland has another harp sounds), harp probable from Korg Trinity, but I'm not sure.
ps/ DigiMallet also similar to "TakeOne" from Ensoniq TS10/12 but I can't check it.
