Does anybody know what model this small Moog bass synth is that he is playing the bass part on. It’s the band, Air and the track, ‘Kelly Watch The Stars’ and I love this particular bass sound and would like to get my hands on one of those. This concert was 2017.
If you scroll in to 3 min 20 seconds in this YouTube video this is the closest and best shot of it, playing with left hand, the one on top with the blue/red/yellow blocks on the flat top panel. From the full concert I can see the back and it says Moog, but that’s all I can make out, not a model.
I have seen this guy play a Moog Minimoog model D in earlier concerts, but this synth is not the Minimoog model D as there are no control knobs, dials, panpots etc, just that flat panel with only two dials and a couple of mod wheels that I can see.
Anybody know what Synth this is?

Source, that's the one.
Source discontinued for a long while now. Anybody know what modern Moog will do same bass sound, on a budget? The Moog Minitaur perhaps?

Colloquially known, perhaps, as the 'Boog'? Certainly Moogish enough to my ears.
Re: Anybody know what Synth this is?
I'm thinking the Minitaur as it's about the same price as the Behringer and, unlike the Behringer it is not made in China and is not an unreliable piece of garbage. Admittedly, I've heard the Behringer sounds super, but no good if they are duff out of the box and go wrong all the time.

also, the minitaur components are made in china. the boards are populated in china.
Re: Anybody know what Synth this is?
I'm sure Moog components are made in China. There are good Chinese built products and naff ones with questionable quality control – Behringer fall into the latter. I know somebody who works in music shop in UK and they get tons of Behringer stuff back, before it's even been used.

Re: Anybody know what Synth this is?
Well, I've had a Boog sat in the studio rack for over 2 years, and absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. No sticky or shoogly knobs, no dodgy patch sockets, nor tuning issues.
The Minitaur, whilst I'm sure is an excellent product, doesn't have many of the features the Minimoog + clones do, and - if memory serves me correctly - some of those it does have, have to be edited via your computer. It also has a limited note range, as it is a bass synth.
The Boog has what you need right there in front of you, and there's a lot more of it.
Moog does have many high quality synths that far surpass what you can do with the Boog, but naturally they cost more.
It's up to you of course - whatever you choose to buy, I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers
